Hi! My Name is Xóchitl (same pronunciation as "so chill" haha).
I'm from Mexico, and I'll be doing my PhD at UNSW starting in June 2025.
I'm looking for a place I can call home on this side of the globe :)
I consider myself an active person. On my free time, I'm usually training for a triathlon, or playing tennis (trying to level up). My other big hobby is painting and all kinds of artsy stuff. Also, I love to hang out but don't know anyone in Sydney, so a place where people are open to becoming friends would be ideal! However, because of the PhD I'm assuming I'll be quite busy, so a place where we are friendly but are on our own thing sounds good too.
I've had roommates since college so I'm totally used to living with new people.
As a roommate, I'm very respectful, clean and friendly. I prefer to live somewhere where my roommates are okay with me occasionally having friends over on the weekend and such.
Ideally, I'm looking for a place to stay long-term, but I'm also open to a short-term stay while I find my way around the city.
My budget is 300-350 with bills, but for the ideal place I could streach it.
PS: I do love a room with a nice window.
