I stayed abroad for a semester from America and the landlord was incredibly welcoming and kind. She was patient while I sorted out visa and bank details and was incredibly hospitable. The cats were the loveliest. Boo and Tinkerbell are the sweetest ragdolls I have ever met. Rose Bay is a stunning place to be able to live, and despite the quaint nature of the house, there is no reason to be couped up within four walls. The area has lots of shops, food, and most importantly the beach right around the corner with a view of Sydney's skyline and the Harbour Bridge. The ferry and light rail to UNSW were my preferred modes of travel because of the scenic nature of it, but I had early labs and classes so I would have to wake up with the sun to be able to make it there on time. It takes approximately an hour and a half during heavy traffic, but if you manage to time the arrivals right and there isn't a lot of people about, it only takes forty minutes. Definitely apply to live here, it gave me a lifechanging, unbelievable experience!

The location of the house is very great. You live by the beach of Rose Bay, and there are a lot of shops all around the house. It's very close to Bondi Beach as well. Rose Bay is a very safe and fancy place to live. The house is good. Especially the bedroom is very big and comfortable. You have to know that you will have to cook with multi cooker. The landlord is very welcoming. You are quite far to UNSW (about 50 minutes) but the life around Rose Bay is lovely.
